Over half-term the family and I decided to make good use of a sunny, spring day and do some exploring.
We headed off via Helston and took a lovely walk through NT Penrose estate to Loe Bar on the coast. The weather was fab and the views tropical. The beach here is pounded daily by massive waves, and even on this calm, spring morning the shoreline was getting a thumping. Little wonder its a no bathing beach.
Whilst the fam ate lunch I grabbed some photos, this being my favourite. It reminded me of a walking guide I`d met years ago and his mantra – “Look behind you once in awhile. Because seeing where you`ve come from is as important as looking where you are going.”
